Trinseo Netherlands B.V. is seeking an apprentice to fill the following job opening at the Global Innovation Center in Terneuzen. The internship will last 6 months and is set to begin as soon as possible.

 

Internship in Process Development for Advanced Thermoplastic Composite

 

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, optimize, and identify the process window
  • Assess and improve impregnation quality using appropriate analytical techniques
  • Characterize and evaluate the mechanical, morphological properties of manufactured samples
  • Documentation

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing, or in the final stage of, a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Composite Materials, Chemical Engineering, Production Technology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with composite manufacturing processes and Design of Experiments (DoE) is considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach to experimental work.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Dutch is a preferred.
