We are looking for a temporary full-time position from 01.09.2026 to 31.08.2027 at our location Rheinmünster in our Binder's research and development department as:

 

Lab Technician (m/f/d)

 

The Lab Technician will be primarily involved in polymerizations at laboratory scale and the analysis of polymer dispersions. The Lab Technician will support our R&D team in the product development new Emulsions for Textile, Paper and Performance Applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform emulsion polymerizations at laboratory scale on semi-automated reactors
  • Chemical- and physical analysis of latex binders and polymers
  • Support the R&D team with various development projects
  • Care of laboratory equipment (GC, HPLC, Titrator)
  • Reporting and documentation of laboratory data
  • Optimization of existing test methods and/or development of new test methods

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed training as a chemical or physical laboratory technician (or technician) or related
  • Very good understanding of chemistry, physics or materials science
  • Passion for synthesis and technology
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • High safety awareness
  • Precise and structured way of working
  • Very good written and spoken German and/or English, French an advantage
