Role Overview:

Trinseo is looking for an E&I Technician who will perform both electrical and instrumentation tasks within the Hamina Binders plant in Finland. In this versatile role, you contribute directly to the safe and efficient operation of our installations.

Responsibilities

 

As an E&I Technician, you are responsible for locating and resolving malfunctions in various installations.

 

Your tasks include:

*   Inspecting, testing, and calibrating equipment such as flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature indicators, and other instrumentation.

*   Preparing and scheduling work activities, ensuring that all tasks can be carried out safely and efficiently—either by yourself or by third parties.

*   Preparing the necessary safe work permits and monitoring the quality of the work performed.

*   Handing over equipment to Operations after completing the job, including proper documentation of all activities carried out.

*   Working with—and having an affinity for—programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

*   Executing tasks according to planning and in compliance with all applicable safety regulations and procedures.

*   Participating in maintenance turnarounds, inspections, and new construction projects.

 

Depending on the size of the job, you will work independently or as part of a team. No day is the same, and this position allows you to fully apply and further develop your technical expertise.

  • Excellent command of Finnish and good command of English, both spoken and written

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Previous experience with SAP maintenance modules is a great plus
