Role Overview:
 

The Styrenics Plastics Plant consists of 4 large scale production units for producing mass ABS and Tyril/SAN. The Styrenics Plastics Plant is part of the Plastics Solutions Business.

 

As our new Quality Coordinator, you will ensure the implementation of the Quality Assurance management system. You will also take care of the ongoing product quality in line with company policies and goals through development and performance of checks throughout the whole production cycle and in compliance with standards set by the Global Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • You will be responsible for the day-to-day Quality Coordination for the plant
  • You will act as RCI Lead Facilitator for Quality related investigations
  • Operations Clean Sweep: local focal point for avoiding plastic pellets in the environment, part of the Global OCS network
  • Ensure correctness quality measurements and follow-up on Quality Communications
  • Daily interaction on SPC/SQC performance and troubleshooting
  • Follow-up on Quality Communications and Customer Complaints
  • Work together with T&I on Special Releases, Quality programs and Investigations
  • Lloyds Register: Focal point for preparation, execution and follow-up of NCs for ISO/IATF QMS audits.
  • Contribute to and implementation of new Quality Related T2 standards and leveraging of findings/NCs of QMS audits in other plants.
  • Plant responsible for Quality KPI goals & performance, Customer Complaints and Business Initiatives

 

Qualifications

- A minimum education level of Bachelor or Masters in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant education.
- Fluency in English is required
- Basic Dutch is required
