EH&S Engineer - Norrkoping

You will have a significant role as responsible for EH&S issues in a small workplace where your commitment to the environment, work environment, health and safety makes a big difference. Your main tasks:

• Drive the preventive and improving work environment management at the company through
• Risk analyses and safety talks
• Exposure measurments following our Industrial Hygine programs
• Convene our work environment groups
• Conduct investigations, carry out measurements and come up with suggestions for improvement
• Monitor laws, ordinances, regulations (AFS) and permits
• Update our procedures and procedures
• Educate and disseminate information
• Give safty trainings
• Working with environmental issues
• Compile data, analyze and report
• Be our contact person for authorities. As we are SEVESO II classified you will work closly with Länsstyrelsen, inspecton body for our licens to operate, permit. 
• Be knowledge about BAT requirements and Industriförorndingen.
• Support the business, e.g. in connection with inspection visits, and assist in producing documentation for internal and external audits and reporting to authorities.
• Waste coordinater, assure correct handling of waste. 

•  Be the EH&S SME on Projects, handle risk reviews, permit requests for modifications, new constructions or introduction of new chemicals
• Take part in the oncall service. One week every 5-7 weeks.

The work is both expert and advisory. The responsibilities of the role are governed by long-term operational goals. The work is guided by the company's management's directives and overall functional guidelines and goals.

A university degree in environmental and work environment, or otherwise acquired good knowledge in the field. It is positive if you have experience of working in industry and/or in a chemical industry.

A good communicator both in speech and writing in Swedish and English. We are an international company and there are colleagues with similar roles at sister factories all over the world to exchange experiences with. 

You appreciate varied tasks and want to develop for a long time to come. An introduction plan has already been developed and all employees follow a training plan with several trainings annually.  You will be trained on the chemicals we handle, on the latex process, the personal protective equipment (PPE) used, measuring equipment and our internal regulations and work procedures.
