Trinseo Suomi Oy is looking for a candidate for the position of:

 

Mechanical Maintenance Technician

 

Role Overview

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment to ensure smooth plant operations. This role requires strong technical skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment malfunctions.
  • Prepare and execute work safely, as outlined in work packages, procedures, or instructions.
  • Issue Safe Work Permits when supervising third-party work and monitor work quality.
  • Return equipment to Operations after maintenance and ensure proper documentation of all work performed.
  • Adhere to schedules and comply with all applicable safety regulations.
  • Actively participate in maintenance shutdowns, new construction projects, and capital investment activities.

Qualifications

  • Relevant technical education and demonstrable mechanical knowledge (f.e. pumps, funnels, valves, metal work, boiler technology, pressurized air etc. maintenance tasks in chemical industry or in other manufacturing environments)
  • Fluency in Finnish (required).
  • Fluency in English (preferred).
