This job opportunity is for a process automation IT specialist with a strong interest in the IT and security related aspects of the Process Automation discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an international team with members from all geographical regions
  • Exhibit strong understanding about the requirements related to EH&S in chemical plants
  • Provide system service to the globally spread process automation installations of Trinseo:
    • System diagnostics and response to detected problems
    • System patching
    • Security diagnostics
  • Management of system security (users, permissions)
  • Operate tools for system health and security diagnostic tools
    • Maintain OT asset register
    • Development and analysis of anomalies detection reporting (KPI)
  • Contribute on development of PA-IT global solutions
  • Contribute to PA projects in all global regions including local presence during cutover or startup times
  • Support Aspentech InfoPlus (IP21) historian system & related tools (system health, users support, in-house customized codes)
  • Lead security incident calls for OT systems

Qualifications

  • University degree of Process Automation, Process Engineering (with Automation focus), Electrical Engineer or Information Technology or similar education. A long-term and successful work in the job can be considered as equivalent to a formal university degree
  • 5 years of practical experience in Process Automation or similar professional areas
  • Knowledge in IT network technology
  • Experience in special programming like .NET, database programming
  • Required: Fluent knowledge in English (both verbal and in writing), other language knowledge is an advantage
  • Preferred: knowledge in administration of Windows domains, Windows Active Directory and similar technologies
