About the Job

We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated Technical Sales Representative to drive business growth in our Latex Binders unit with focus on CASE markets (construction, coatings, adhesives, sealants, fiber bonding). This role offers a dynamic mix of account management including the option to manage global key accounts, and new business expansion through innovative and sustainable products. You will play a key role in executing our aggressive growth strategy, engaging customers with a consultative selling approach, and driving market penetration.

This role is extremely versatile and leaves room for entrepreneurial approaches – it's about building strong relationships, spotting opportunities, and working collaboratively across teams to create value for our customers and Trinseo. The role also includes elements of distribution management and participating or leading strategic marketing projects as we continue to invest in and expand this business.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue and market share in CASE applications in Europe.  
  • Manage and expand relationships with existing accounts and new customers in an international business environment. Drive sales opportunities over the finish line.
  • Provide technical consultation and support, understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (R&D, marketing, operations) to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Assist in development of segment strategies, value propositions and product development for our targeted markets

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business, etc.).
  • 5-10 years of experience in sales, business development, or technical customer facing roles within our target markets.
  • Strong technical background, or at least technical affinity, and understanding of chemical industry value chains. Experience with latex binders is a big plus.
  • Industry background is highly valued – experience in our target markets construction, coatings, adhesives, sealants, fiber bonding.
  • Proven ability to hunt for new business while effectively managing and growing existing accounts.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to connect internally and externally.
  • Fast-paced, self-motivated, proactive, and agile – thrives in a dynamic growth environment. Strong business acumen and analytical thinking.
  • Language skills beyond English and Germany are an asset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
