About the Role:

The Treasury Accountant role will focus on daily and monthly debt reporting requirements, oversee the loan, interest and other Treasury accounting postings, reconcile IT2 with SAP accounting for month-end closing, handle certain Treasury intercompany processing, analysis and forecast, and support back-office activities such as FX deal/loan confirmation. This role will help the Global Treasury Team meet the challenge of increasing complexity and reporting requirements in external and internal loans after refinancing of several key debt facilities, and strengthen the  accounting activities related to Treasury

Responsibilities

Overview of the Role:

  • Prepare and submit Daily and Monthly loan reports as required under key debt facilities
  • Oversee Treasury accounting process include loan, interest, fund transfer, FX/hedge accounting entries, etc. in IT2 system and outside system as needed

  • Reconcile IT2 with SAP accounting for month-end closing, include certain routine Treasury closing steps as well as Blackline reconciliation required by Controllers group on Treasury

  • Handle certain Treasury intercompany processes (such as monthly intercompany netting, internal FX conversion), and contribute to some analysis and forecast processes such as the balance sheet hedge

  • Support back-office activities such as FX deal/loan confirmation

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting (or local equivalent)
  • Professional accountancy Qualification such as, CPA, CFA, CIMA, ACCA, ACA preferred
  • 5 years of accounting related experience

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Working Knowledge of Financial/Accounting ERP system
    • SAP – ECC and S/4HANA, preferred SAP Experience w/S4 and/or ECC a plus
  • Strong enterprise business acumen, knowledge and understanding of work processes performed by Finance
  • Basic understanding of banking and Treasury operations
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, supervisors and customers
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail and time management skills
